"Did you see it at the show?" you ask. No, because they stopped letting people on to their stand. Annoying, as I'd paid good money to get into that show! Apparently they were shocked that, at a massive caravan show attended by tens of thousands of people, they got a lot of people wanting to look at a brand new design. I think they might have seen that one coming.
Clearly they should have used the show to display the caravan, and then arranged to do deals with anyone who wanted to buy at a later date (or at the end of the day, once the public had left).
Sadly for Dunster House, the whole episode left a sour taste in the mouths of many caravanners, and the NEC was a PR disaster for Stealth. However, congratulations to them for trying something a little bit different ... and for going straight into the number one slot for the daftest name ever for a caravan.

I had a look at them at the show, and to be honest I wasn't impressed. The colour (outside) put me off for a start. Inside the I couldn't get on with a black and white interior. With having the bed at one end and the bathroom at the other end. Looking out of the van can only be done through the side windows, I along with a lot of other caravanners like to look through the front window.

As said, was not allowed to go inside, but what I saw in though the windows & just now on the show, not what I expected, and where did he get that theres no vans with a fixed bed & end bathroom?

To be fair and give the man his due the spokesman for the Stealth did further qualify his remark about fixed beds and end bathrooms by talking of vans with island beds without cut off corners.
However I echo the views of another contributor in wondering what kind of a caravanner would want to stay in a van without a panoramic view of his or her surroundings; mountains, hills, forests, lakes, seascapes, and of course the neighbours struggling with their awnings, either for amusment or to be able to offer a friendly hand.
Caravannng without the full spectrum of both enjoying the scenery, and people watching just would not seem right somehow.
Chris' comment seemd nicely to sum it up. "A caravan for non caravaners" or something very similar.
However on another practical note. If the Stealth is occupied by adults and children, assuming the adults want the double bed, when do the childen get the opportunity to go to their bed? Not till after Mum and Dad apparrently.

Just catching up on posts.
I'm sorry but this caravan is a bit of a disaster on wheels. The position of the wall mounted TV will give some people servere neck ache, and why have the toilet at the front, its a bit of a dash to the loo if you are caught short, not only that if you have guests or family with you , then they get disturbed.
Not very impressed after all the hype the manufacturers made of it. Sorry own goal comes to mind.

even later catching up! Give them some credit for something new. Although personally we're looking for something old (so just as well we couldn't get on the stand!) Simple really - the best use of a caravan floor pan is surely a fixed transverse bed (without cut offs) centre washroom and kitchen and parallel short sofas. Can't find one now - especially if you want a fixed carpet and GRP sides (remember those??) Rod

If you want glass fibre top and sides, and a tight-fit carpet, Rod, you'll have to buy a Vanmaster - they've got a secondhand two-berth (just £12k), that you'll see in show 25/09, premiering tonight!
