 extending an awning
« Thread Started on Oct 26, 2009, 9:10pm »

I am getting my new van in February. My awning is 960cm and the new van takes a 1000cm awning.
The question is does anyone know where I can get this done?
I intend to see how much it will cost and then decide whether it is worth getting it extended, or putting a bit more to the price and getting a new one.

Hi Les,

Both of these companies do this, it's a start.

Hi Les I can recommend this company Tent Valeting Services

Take a look, you could aways cut the delivery costs by picking it up on the way to Preston to pick up your new caravan ;D

Thank you for the 2 awning repair places. Unfortunatley the one in Hull is too far to go, but I will contact them to see how much it will cost.
the other one is in Burton on Trent which is only 52 miles from where I live. I will contact them to see how much they will charge.

Thanks for that place in Bolton, I will contact them and see what their prices are like. As you say I could quite easily pick it up when we get the van.

I forgot to say why I recommended them, my Father who tends to be accident prone has had need to call on their services on more than one occasion to repair his awning, each time he's received good service.
