Hi all, Stu & Syb here. We're the English owners of a friendly, relaxing 'CL type' site in the heart of the gorgeous Loire Valley, France. We've open all year and have 8 EHU pitches and a couple of non-EHU pitches for those of you that really like to get away from it all! If you like to holiday with non-camping friends or relatives, why not hire one of our beautiful gîtes? We're disabled/wheelchair friendly too! Please have a look at the website at www.loire-gites.com and drop us a line? Hope to see you soon.
We have been talking about throwing caution to the wind and venturing to France and you go and post the perfect site on here. Methinks the diary may have to be found and consulted. Now where did I store all those Michelin maps from years ago?
Wow! Thanks Clarky! It's lovely to think that we offer someone's idea of perfection. Well, it's very close to ours obviously, but apart from that...Anyway, many thanks for the kind comments, and hopefully we'll see you over here sometime!

To Andy & Maggie - thankyou very much for the lovely message. I confess to having lost the url for this site after our old pc gave up the ghost. I'm not ignorant, I assure you. Apologies for that. The reason I've been prompted to re-appear is that I've had the pleasure of welcoming 'Clarky', and his lovely wife to Le Chant just yesterday. They're happily (hopefully) ensconced on site, enjoying the sunshine (and the free wifi) today. I'm sure they'll log on at some point to give you all a glimpse into their holiday adventures.
