This is best done in an open fire but can be done on a BBQ if it has a domed lid.
If you do not have a domed lid Bone and roll the chicken or even just cut it into smaller bits
A whole chicken. 1 Lemon 1 large onion
Brush with plenty of melted butter. Take the lemon, slice, squeeze juice over chicken. Sprinkle generously with Lemon & Herb spice salt and pepper. Put left over lemon peel & pulp inside chicken with slices of onion. Put the rest of the sliced onion onto the foil. Put the chicken onto the sliced onion and wrap the foil over the chicken. Place into the embers of a campfire, or place on the BBQ and close the lid. Cook until done. 40-60 minutes. Try cooking some veg in other foil packets and serve with the chicken
