By popular request (well it was from one special person)
you need Clean Hands 1/4 Hard white cabbage (I know it as cow cabbage) 2 large carrots 1/2 spanish onion 1 yellow pepper (I mean only the flesh, what ever you do Don't let any seeds get in there) 300g of a good quality mayo (I never use light) 1/2 pint of double cream If it is too runny blend it to give a thick pouring consistency (I tend to use UHT as it will keep longer, but the bowl is normally empty by the next day.. Cress for garnish
Method Chop cabbage into thin strips Grate carrots with coarse grater (The coarser the grate the greater the taste) Slice the onion so that it ends up as narrow strands Chop the pepper finely
Put all veg into a large mixing bowl and mix with the fingers. Mix the mayo and cream together then stir gently into the dry mix until the veg is fully encased with mayo.. Do Not over mix as this breaks down the crunchy texture.
Dress with a sprinkle of cress and serve to all your friends (make sure you get some first)
