Added those Denise (MrsMothy), I would have thought a Prepay meter was technically illegal as you are not now allowed to re-sell Electricity. Also added 2 nights for Haze & myself at Delamere C & CC at £14.10/night and 34 miles towed. That's probably our last as we now have to empty the van for it's service on Thursday.
Note to Mods........... Please do not try to edit this post, put a separate post (or PM me) with your additional 'Nights Away'
I must say that although we have come across coin opperated showers, we haven't come across coin metres for actual hook-ups before. The site was checked by the CCC in 2010 and they obviously didn't have a problem with it. I suppose it depends whether it's the electricity supplier or the CS owner that empties and retains the coins?

I was under the same impression as Trooper, that prepay meters for the EHU was illegal under the "illegal to resell electricity" rules/regs./laws.
I know that, when the rule became active, the Caravan Club changed their method of charging for electricity from a separate amount on the nightly charge to an all-in tarrif. Perhaps the rules/ regs for electricity usage doesn't apply to CLs and CCs where the owner is in effect, renting out part of the field and the caravan owner is effectively a tenant.
