Moved on again, another 250 miles. Arrived at Camping International Luz St Sauveur on Saturday afternoon it was overcast for most of the day, but dry. Yesterday Sunday was Warm and Sunny all day and this morning we have blue skies again.
This is as far South as we intend to go (any more South and we would be in Spain , the plan is to stay here till Thursday then start moving North again.
We could happily spend more time in the Pyrenees area, stunning scenery. Though the Dogs were a hamper, they are not allowed in the National Parks or on the Cable cars.
Yesterday we moved back up north a bit, about 195 miles to a Site called 'La Riviere Fleurie' between Bergerac and Bordeaux. The forecast rain stayed away during the trip, on arrival at the Camp site it was 35oC and sunny. However 3hrs later we had a cracking Thunderstorm and torrential rain for about an hour. Then the sun came out and dried every thing off nicely.
We are due to spend 3 nights here, the last of our Camping Cheques, we will be using the ACSI Card from then on.
We arrived at '2 Plages Vilage Corsaire', Chatelaillon-Plage yesterday, this is between Rochefort and La Rochelle.
This is a big commercial site with lots of Static vans, not really our style but we have got a massive fully serviced pitch and at 15€ ACSI price. We have a further 2 nights here before moving on to our last site (this year) in France.
