Hi, my fridge ( Electrolux ) works ok except on gas, it ignites ok, but as soon as I take my finger off the valve it shuts off, and the electronic ignition starts flashing n clicking again, my question is, how do I remove fridge as ive been told that the thermocoupling is pretty reliable and probably just needs a clean.
If it is a fairly modern fridge, there are four fixing screws, two on each side in the door frame under plastic caps. Prise out the caps and undo the screws. Be careful, because of the design of the fridge to fit over wheel arches, it is top heavy.
Pull the fridge forward. There is enough gas pipe to enable this to be done. Replacement is the reverse procedure.
Some fridges you can service through the lower air vent might be worth a try first?

Hi I have previously had the same fault and found providing the coupling is positioned correctly in the pilot flame the cure was a replacement coupling. I tried various off the shelf parts at a great reduction in price but alas they didn't work for me and i had to buy the very more expensive genuine part. Hope it's just an adjustment issue for you to resolve. Bill
