Hi, Can anyone help with a reason why an isolation relay is incorporated in my 1997 bailey ranger since it does not allow interiorllights or battery charging while the car engine is running ,it does allow the fridge to work. Iwould like to disconnect it so that the battery is being charged whilst on the road ,, Anyone got any ideas , would much appreciate it . John
Not sure about a 1997, on our 2005 Bailey the 'Habitation' relay senses power coming from the car and cuts the domestic supply to the van (Interior-Lights etc) and puts the power from the car onto the Fridge and the Battery for charging.
