Hi Mike Can you put me down for 7 nights at Porth Beach Caravan Park,Newquay at the Believe it or not cost of £40.00 per night for a Hard Standing fully serviced premium pitch. Then 7 nights at longacres caravan park at Evesham at the more realistic cost of £13,50 per night with electric hook-up.This site also had a small fishing lake. With a combined mileage of approx.-650 miles.I will post my reviews on these two sites in the next few days.I hope most of us were able to enjoy the sunshine over the last few weeks I know this was the best weather we have had on holiday for the last 3 years we racked up 13 days sunshine and had a great time. artfish.

Just returned from excellent Upper Thames Centre Rally in Abingdon. Two nights away - towed sixty one miles - £6.00 per night. Living in Oxford, we only visit Abingdon occasionally for different shopping. But this weekend was a revelation. The Rally Field was located on Abingdon Cricket Club's field, all of 100 metres distant from the river, so great for the dogs. We wandered around Abingdon on Saturday morning just like tourists, climbed to the roof of the old Guildhall for amazing views across Abingdon and the rest of Oxfordshire, and also visited St Helen's Church, probably one of the finest Parish churches we've visited. Oh, and apart from a couple of isolated showers, and in spite of the weekend's weather forecasts, the weather was fine as well. You just gotta love caravanning, don'cha.
Please will you update our scores, Mike. We've had four nights on a tiddly CL in Llangwm called Ty Newydd. It was 92 miles to get there (184 total) but at only £12 a night for lots of space, views and peace and quiet, it was well worth it. We've also made a flying visit down under and had three nights on a gorgeous CS in Coombe Bissett near Salisbury called Pennings Farm. Only a mile and a half from the A354 but it was beautifully quiet. The views were amazing too! Anyway, this was £12 a night as well but was a round trip of 378 miles.
