I came across Chris Goslings excellent Video report of Kawan Village Lac de la Liez by accident and it reminded me that we stayed on this camp site in June 2008.
We stayed on one of the more open pitches further into the site as they were the only pitches large enough to take our outfit.
Some things to be aware of, some of the Pitches can get quite muddy after heavey rain and the site can fill up in the late afternoon, so if you plan on turning up in late afternoon to would be advisable to book (which we had done). The lake is quite a way down from the site and can be reached by many stairs or down a steepish road. The outdoor pool was not full when we were there 1st June '08
The site takes both Camping Cheques & the ACSI Card (14€)
The old Walled town of Langres is well worth a visit. You can park below the walls an take the funicular pod up to the town.
