 Hi Good morning all
Thinking of having a rehearsal this morning on first time setting up and heating the water ' to use in caravan taps/ shower ' just going to hook up water and electric from home yard before we go on our first caravan trip hopefully in next few weeks. Just wanting to confirm the right procedure ' as its six months since I had bought the caravan and may have forgotten one or two things from the 2 hour + caravan tuition session I had in September the steps I think I remember?
1.- Makes sure all taps are closed. 2.- Close the yellow drain down valve next to water heater unit. 3.- Fill the water container. 4.- Lower the submersible filter below the water level. 5.- Push the hose coupling into the exterior wall mounted socket. 6. Couple up the two waste water hoses to the outlet to the rear of the offside wheel direct waste water hose into waste water container. 7.- open kitchen tap ' put the lever to hot. 8.- Turn on water heater pump switch where isolator switch(s)are 9.- Allow air in the system to escape until a steady flow of water is attained. close tap 10-. repeat with wash room tap and shower.
P.S. My caravan is a Abbey gts vogue 416 2004 model Many thanks in advance and I appreciate all the kind help ;-)

Stephen,
No doubt you already know that the cold water system will need to be purged of air as well.
Apart from that, you seem to have covered all the necessary steps.
Don't forget to ensure the battery is fully charged. You could, if you wish, pull the temperature in the fridge down on mains electricity while you have mains available.
Make sure that, after you have coupled up to the car, all the running lights are functioning (12N plug).
Then it's hey ho off into the sunset. Enjoy!
Dickers.

And don't forget the corkscrew and bottle opener, all other sins can be forgiven
