Access is by narrow lanes from the main road, not many passing places. Site is 0.5 Acres caravan pitches are in a row so you have a great view out to the coastal path. Great walks along the coastal paths. A bus runs daily which allows you to walk to a location and then get the bus back to site, or you can catch the bus to a location and walk back to the site, the path passes in front of the site. Nearest pub is in Trefin which can be walked via the lane for good food and beer. Site has fresh water at both ends of the site, but pressure is low, so one tap can only be used at a time. The owners are really friendly. Peaceful site and no farm dogs barking. Mobile phone reception is good as is TV. We enjoyed watching the owner and his brother’s work in "harmony" collecting the silage.
Forgot to add if you put an awning up do not leave any shoes or dog toys in there as the site is visited each night by a fox who will steal them. We were made aware of this by the owner, so I managed to peg down the awning and skirt to make sure it did not happen to us, so we left our wet shoes out only to be woken to a noise in the awning the fox was trying to jump out of the plastic windows the wife opened the door and told it to drop the shoe, which it did we shut the door and it got out the way it came in which was a small gap between the front corner near the van, a quick mod using our small plastic table and a 10 Ltr water butt solved the issue we never had it in again, but others on site had dog toys stolen but were found in the next field. The site owner has now added a warning sign at the gate..
