I have just found out that as from 8th December when you use your Tesco Credit card you will only get 1 point for every £8 spent. At the moment you get 1 point for every £4. Obviously got he new man in charge is cutting back on very important things for me at least as I ( like lots of other people) use my points on Eurotunnel. I very rarely use Tescos for anything.

I think the points are remaining the same for Tesco shopping so if you fill up with fuel that will all help. If you have a credit card that incorporates the Club Card you will get points for using both although the quantity is earned is not the same.
I don't think the reduction in points is down to the new man in charge at Tesco. The EU has recently forced a change in the rules on transaction changes, reducing them to about .2/.3% of transaction where as in the past it has been as much as 3% Making that much money on each transaction allowed all sorts of reward schemes to flourish but I suspect many of them will be cutting back in the near future.

Hi David
Thanks for that. I very rarely do any shopping in Tescos, my points are built up through the credit card.
