Hi all,
We haven't disappeared off the face of the earth, we are still alive and kicking in Essex. We just have not stopped since last Christmas, as Wizzard said in the song "I wish it could be Christmas every day". Well it has been, Bessie has remained in storage since last year without turning a wheel.
However, we have now decided that 2016 is the right time to retire and move to either Norfolk or Suffolk. So with very healthy balance sheets both businesses will be on the market in March along with the house.
We hope everyone on the forum are keeping well.
Best wishes,
Alan & Maureen

Al and Mo It is great to hear from you. How are you both keeping? You will miss the work and all the stress, but this will be worth it as you will be able to spend time in Bessie. You will wonder how you had time to work.

Hi Alan and Maureen,
I must confess, I wondered where you had got to.
Once you have retired, as Les says, you will be able to relax without the stresses of the business and the responsibility for your employees.
Now's the opportunity to get away in the caravan and enjoy life.
Best wishes to you both,
Roy.

Hi Alan & Mo, good to hear you and the business are doing well. Like the the others I was wondering what had happened to you.
I look forward to hearing about Bessie's exploits next year.
