There is no way to dress this up, Maureen was admitted to Basildon Hospital with a blotted stomach and a suspected hernia, a week ago. We have found out last night that she has a tumour on the neck of her Pancreas. It is an aggressive type of cancer and inoperable. We are not sure how long Moggie (Maureen) will be with us, but I will keep you all informed. I have post some photo's from happier times. Attachments:

Sorry it's been a while, but it has been a very difficult time for me to come to terms with the loss of her, just 38 days after diagnosis. Maureen had a good send off 30 plus people turned up at the house to see her off. We stopped outside the school were she worked for 22 years where the Staff and pupils stood to pay their respects, there were at least 200 people there.
We booked the small Chapel which held 50, but she would have laughed as we got this wrong 80+ filled the Chapel. I didn't really know how popular Maureen was within the community and it made myself and my family so proud to see how many people took the time to pay their own respects.
I am still going to sign off Alan & Maureen as a lasting respect to a much loved Wife and ardent caravanner.
Alan & Maureen.

I am glad all went well at the funeral, I am not surprised at the number of people who attended her send off, it just proves what a lovely lady she was.
