Wolverley Camping and Caravanning Club Site, Brown Westhead Park, Wolverley, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, DY10 3PX Open: 11 Mar 2017 - 06 Nov 2017 Open: 09 Mar 2018 - 05 Nov 2018 Pitches: 105 Phone number: 01562 850909 This medium sized site is a mix of Grass and Hard Standing, some of the Grass section had quite a slope. During WW2 the site was a US army hospitalThe toilet/Shower Block and the Reception/Games Room look like they are original building dating back to 1942. There is 2 Water points but we could only see 1 Chemical Disposal Point which is next the the Drive through Motorhome Service Point. There is a Back Gate to the site which makes a trip the The Lock Inn or the Canal Tow Path a short walk. The site is also next to some sports fields Ideal for Ball Games or Dog Walking. The Canal Tow Path is a firm surface ideal for walking or cycling. Kidderminster is a 2/3 miles stroll down the canal there is a Salisbury's supermarket and a bit further is a Tesco supermarket. We cycled the 7 miles down to 'Stourport on Seven' with it's historic Basins and the River Seven. Trooper

Thanks for that as Wolverley is on our to do list when Margaret is feeling a bit better. From the video Wolverley seems a fair distance (walking) from the site. Is it any nearer from the site short cut?

Great review with lovely pictures. The site has changed a lot since we were there in the early 80's. We will have to seriously consider going back again.

Is it any nearer from the site short cut? David David, the Back Gate cuts a lot off the distance to Wolverley town. The Lock Inn is just across the road and around the corner. However the Town of Wolverley is on a hill and the roads around the town and especially the Church, are very steep. I would not advise any body with less than 80/90% mobility to tackle it walking. We have not long been back from the C&CC Wolverley site. Rather foolishly we decided to walk into Kidderminster on the hottest day of our stay!! All I can say thank goodness for the M&S Café almost right by the canal!!! We did get a taxi back which was not too expensive and he dropped us off at the Lock Inn for further refreshment!!! Site report here www.davidklyne.co.uk/wolverley_ccc_site.htmlDavid
