Overwater MarinaThe Marina has 2 Carvan sites. A 5 Pitch CL site that requires membership of the Caravan and Motorhome Club (£15/night 2017) and a 10 Pitch Touring site no memberships required (£18/night plus £2/night for awnings 2017). The Touring site Pitches are fully service with EHU, Water and Greywater drain. The CL pitches have EHU (long leads may be required), I saw 2 water points, Grey water has to be tipped into the hedge rows. This is a nice site, but is in the middle of nowhere, a Water Taxi, the "Audlem Lass", operates on weekends and for £1 for Adults and 50p for children it will take you to Lock 15 which is a short walk from Audlem (all money goes to the RNLI). You can walk the "Tow Path" to Audlem it's a couple of miles, the village has a COOP supermarket and a number of smaller shops, a Chippy and 3 or 4 Pubs. We took the bikes hoping to ride the Tow path but access was limited and sections of the path were grass, so they stayed on the Rack.

Thanks for that. It looks like a very nice site, and cheap if you use the CL.

Mike
Thanks for that, a useful report. We don't tend to use CL's but that one would be of interest to us as its next to a canal which was a previous passion of ours. Hope you don't mind but I posted the link on the CC forum in the CL section.

Considering people seem to be crying out for information about CL's on the CMC Forum, especially those with hardstandings I would have thought there might have been some response to me posting the link. Eleven people have viewed the post but no comments or likes so I am not sure what to make of it.

I thought more people may have looked, as the Video has had 86 views in 10 days, which I would say is higher that normal.

The CMC forum software is far from cutting edge so perhaps more people have viewed than it indicates.
