2013(13) Kia Sorento Diesel 2.2 CRDI KX2 Manual - Towing a 2019 Coachman VIP 520/3 (@ 80.0%) fitted with Powrtouch Evolution Motor Mover.
5 nights at Apple Fields C&CC Listed Site at Leiston, nr Saxmundham Suffolk. 320 miles towed, £15.00/night including EHU.
Pleasant site. All grass pitches with enough room for approx. 20 caravans but not all with EHU. 3 shower/toilet combos at 50p/shower plus male, female and disable access individual toilets. Small kitchen with washing up, hob and microwave.
Co-op in Leiston and a Tesco in Saxmundham (5 miles) No filling station. Fuel in the village on the road to Saxmundham (£1.33/litre) Nearest supermarket fuel is Tesco or Morrisons in Beccles (16 Miles). Wetherspoons in Beccles. Plenty of fish and chips in Leiston centre. Nearest pub approx. 1/2 mile. Caravan accessory shop in Farnham on the A12 (8 1/2 miles) Fairly comprehensive stock although they go for complete units rather than individual components (bit pricey)
Seaside towns Aldeburgh (4 1/2 miles) and Southwold (16 miles). Parking in both towns pay and display. However if you go into Southwold on the A1095 and aim for the pier, as soon as you see the pier at the end of the street, start looking for a parking spot (free). Aldeburgh is much the same. As you run into town on the A1094, as soon as you turn right along the beach road look for a spot. Again, free. There are shacks along the edge of the beach selling fish (expensive) The Long Shop Museum in Leiston worth a visit. It was the first factory to use production line techniques for steam propelled vehicles. Norfolk and Suffolk Air Museum at Flixton nr. Bungay is worth a visit and it is free.
