Talking about prices I tried to book Castleton caravan club site for next Easter for a 3 night stay, Good Friday Saturday & Sunday night leave Monday. The website was showing fully booked so I rang them direct ,he was happy to see & said he only had service pitches left at a slightly higher cost than a normal pitch but was still coming in at £16o for 3 nights 😂! where do they get these prices from 🤔? I've since managed to book Keswick Club site for half the price for the four of us for the same period of time !! 😎

Channel 5 Friday 8 pm. Well this could be a good laugh. It hopefully should be all humorous. It's not suppossed to be a portral of caravanning but maybe the fun people have. Wonder how long it is before they lose their patience Let's see.

1st caravan service !! I'll Stick to A19 caravans like we used to with other van !! We've gettin ours back , scuffed and 2 x rear end dents , with scuff marks  , scuff marks have waxed out , they say they've changed cupboard handles , still not kinda snapping shut !! The flashing light problems , they said that was down to the earthing cable not being connected underneath ??!!! So its going back to get dents sorted after we come back weekend away as well as warranty work not completed ! Craig

..... The next day we left and headed South towards Rouen great trip until we arrived there. The tunnel was closed overnight for work, but for some reason it wasn't open at about 9.30 when we got there we were held up for 11/2 hours....... Les Sorry to hear about that, we had the same problem a few years ago when we first went quite a bit of a diversion around it when we were heading that way as it was shut due to the fire damage but it was even worse when we came back that way as we were diverted around the River for what should have been a 5 minutes in & out the tunnel to over an hour to get round , absolute chaos, people nudging each others cars to squeeze past and we just made to the ferry within about half an hour of doors shutting!

Hi , we to have recently taken delivery of our new Sprite Major 6 which we got in May there has been one or two things that need sorting out and I can't complain about the after sales service . When I've needed something done they have done it , something came off the cooker , it was replaced 3 days later no problem , so so far so good for us .

Mike , I agree, all sites for the same club should be the same price. You've got a good price for Black Horse farm,we were charged £32 last time we went there on the way to France for one night on a ferry pitch and that was away at 4 a.m., not even 12 hours on the site! We stopped halfway the previous year on way to Cornwall at Poolsbrook caravan and motorhome Club and was charged £30 and that was getting there at 7 p.m. and leaving at 6 a.m. ? Not away till about February now but hopefully it'll be once every 6weeks or so .then Greece in the summer via plane saying we had poor weather this year in holland , hopfully back to france for 2o19 !! Happy touring .

Absolute joke but comical in a way , fancy trying to pull your unit up an uneven incline like that !! Embarrassing for the top dogs at CC !! And a hefty bill . Why force the partners to reverse when they've never done it ! They done well though .
As as for the anarach who was partnered with his mum ?!?!? How he didn't flatten her on the reversing challenge I do not know !

Hi Craig, Have a super break in Edinburgh. If you haven't been there before, the best way to get into the city to explore is to get the bus outside the Site. However, make sure that you have the correct fare as the driver does not give out change. No end of visitors have been caught out, especially foreign visitors. The site Warden will tell you the fare cost and usually can give you change. Dickers. Ha , I'm a bus driver where I live and get free travel on any pulic transport up and down the country , so does my wife and kids , so the change won't matter but cheers ! Never paid in 8 years !!

Front side windows can be tinted but the % that your allowed its not worth it cos you can barely tell that they are tinted !

I agree with the phone part ( even though mine comes through our sat nav hands free automatic answer ) and agree with the parking restictions but Don't see how tinted windows cause accidents , obviously your not allowed windscreens done anyway , ours came with the rear 5 windows tinted as standard as do many cars these days , so what happens when France enforce this , that'll be lots off people getting pulled ! And we're going back there soon . . . And counting down the days to !
