Ray 1123 starts us off for the New Year with 3 Nights Away @ £21/night & 96 miles. I have kept everyone who regularily participated in last years list. So, come on folks, loads of Nights Away this year
Note to Mods........... Please do not try to edit this post, put a separate post (or PM me) with your additional 'Nights Away'
Hi Trooper Being new to the forum, I wondered how many nights you lot usually managed. We usually do between 45 and 55 but hope to do more in a few years when Tim retires. Is this a bad / average / good score. WE would score pretty low on the cost as we usually stay on Cls / CSs apart from Christmas although we and our girls have booked 3 pitches at Crowden CCsite for 4 nights at Easter. Denise

Hi Denise, 45/55 is probably about average or just above. There is no good or bad number, people do what suits them and their circumstances. As you say, you should be able to get away much more when Tim retires. Our weekends are mainly at CL's & CS's though the Bank Holidays weekends are usually at C & CC sites as I find these easier to book. If you have a look Here you can see what we all got up to last year (Nights away Wise).
Its only cold on the outside Mike, nice and warm in the van, although glad we came back home on the 4th otherwise I think we may have been stranded for a few days, still that wouldn't have been the end of the world. Roll on Feb half term off to Durham for a week.
Just came across this , here we go, new year, we cant claim milage there because we towed there last year, but stayed 3 nights at £10 a night this side of the newyear and towed 25 miles home, this weekend 2 nights at £10 a night and from and back to storage a massive total of 6 miles.
