The Swansea Cork Ferry has been successful and start's up in March. We have just booked our slot on the ferry and regard the 10 hour over night crossing as a little mini cruise, cabin is compulsory. From Kent it save's us approximately 2 hour's towing from the end of the M4 to either Pembroke or Fishguard and a futher 4 hour's towing approximately from Rosslaire to Cork. So on a return journey that's approximately 12 hour's towing and fuel and a lot less stress, arriving in Cork at 07.00 am fresh after a good night's sleep. To us the extra cost on the ferry is well worth exchanging for 12 hour's towing, fuel and stress.
