Came back from the Greenacres Site in Porthmadog (Haven Site)
About the site:
Concrete base to put the caravan on and a sandy hollow to put the awning on which was about 2 inches lower than the where the caravan was. Lucky it was a dry week otherwise if it had rained heavy then the whole site would have flooded in the awnings, portacabin toilet block showers ok but a little bit small, hot water OK toilets if you went in just after it was cleaned you were OK (no toilet brush you can imagine what i mean) funworks pass free to the entertainment area and bar area's lots of noise from the gaming machines and all the other ones that were there, meal prices were about normal along with the bar prices. Entertainment was ok if you were a child but the usual standard. Stayed for 1 drink and left. The beach was good just a couple of hundred metres from the site. Plenty of empty statics and very quiet. A good location to discover the Lleyn Peninsula.Would i stay there again. Proberley yes for the cost of £10.00 a night for 2 adults and a dog. But this was the first week of the season. Will post some pics later.
