Hi All, Just got my first van it is an oldish one but will suit our needs it is a Abbey 215. 1990 MY. We like going up to the west coast of Scotland but have had far to many wet holidays in tent so going to give this a go. All the bits seem to work well but need to post a few question soon.
The age of the van doesn't matter, what does matter is how much you enjoy using it. If there is anything you want to know just ask and someone will either give you the answer or point you in the right direction to find it. On the other hand if you can help others by all means do so. Just remember the only stupid question is the one you don't ask.
As said before, the age of the van doesen't matter, we all started somewhere and most of us started with tents and had disasterous weather. It doesn't matter how old the outfit is as long as it suit your personal needs, all caravanners start of at the lower end of the market, albeit due to trying it out or simply budget.
The important thing is that you get enjoyment out of it, and you can have some really good cheap holidays/breaks.
