We have had a brilliant if expensive day at the NEC. As we bought a new Caravan last month we need to renew some items such as the Awning. This was obviously the most expensive item, we are now the owners of a Bradcot Aspire 390 air awning. The usual price is £899 we paid £850 which includes an electric pump which is normally £99 extra. The next most expensive was tea and coffee? The other things we bought were Correlle dinner plates, lunch plates and bowls, 4 of each which came to £42. We looked into a lot of Caravans and decided that we had picked the right one for us. We did see them filming a episode of the Caravan Channel, they were too busy for us yo talk to them. As usual it was a very tiring day, but well worth it. Les

Blimey if that is when the first build is when will you get yours, or is that when you actually get it. If I had to wait that long I would go mad. Saying that I am sure you will really enjoy it.

I'm hopeful that March will be the delivery date but I am sure that Bailey will have got a nice big set of orders for the Ancona (my local dealer took orders for 5 on Saturday alone!) so they could even start building them earlier. I know I am probably being over optimistic but it is Christmas in just over 8 weeks and as soon as that is finished, Easter eggs will appear in the shops so time will fly!!!

I too decided on a trip to the NEC to view the Bradcot Air Aspire 390. Thought it to be the best of the range. However, I didn't find the show price appealing. Not lot less than on line. I now need a new awning as it was decided that "we" need a new van. So instead of buying an awning I bought a Swift Conqueror 560. Still haven't worked out how I let her talk me into this.

I looked online and found one awning (an ex demo) for £750 including an electric pump, but it went before I could get it. I am happy with my price as those I found online since being back have been £899 with hand pump. That is a big difference, I think I would have gone for the awning.

Will go for a new awning next year. Current one will have to do for now, but there is no way that I will take her to the show again
