Hi All, Ive just discovered this forum, and I will be a regular visitor. I have an Abbey Freestyle 470 SE which I tow with a Saab 9-5 Aero HOT Estate, a near perfect combination. We use both fully equipped sites with all mod cons and very basic sites with only water and waste. The caravan is very good in both situations.

Welcome to our small Forum. If you have any questions we will do our best to answer them.
The main thing is to enjoy your caravanning.

Hi all! Myself, Debs and OH, Simon are new to this lark! But so looking forward to escaping in our new little bolt-hole, a folding La Boheme caravan (no sniffing now!) and pretty tidy for it's age! We think, with all original (what a find!) furnishings fixtures and fittings, with the exception of the light??? (unfortunately it's very hard to find much in the way of interior images but am assuming there was one there-if anyone can shed light, haha on that one!) We were looking for a trailer tent at first, did not have a high budget due to grown up kids, an albatross of a car and house being a contant drain on our income, Then we started looking at these amazing bits of kit-esp for their time (ours is 37 years old and pretty much sound cosmetically, mechanically and no leaks, damp/mould or previous evidence of....and yes, the original awning too!) We also needed something our (i would say trusty but....) mondeo could tow without any adaptation bar a tow bar and wouldn't be charged like another vehicle on the ferry as we do regular European trips. So boxes all ticked! La Boheme image too big apparently so for now, the dog's taken a selfie! At some point will try and add images or a link and if anyone else has any of theirs, would love to see them.

Welcome to the Forum Debs and congrats on your purchase. If you have a look in the 'Folding Camper & Trailer Tent' section there is a number of Photos of various Folders. One of our members Andy (andymacdonald30) was into restoring old folders but he hasn't been on for a while.
If you want to add Photos to a Post, the best bet is to join a site like Photobucket (it's free) and upload your pictures there then link them to your post.

Welcome to both osprey2 and debt. We might only be a small forum but there is a lot of experience on here. If you have any questions just ask. Don't forget the only stupid question is the one you don't ask.
