Don't know if anybody has looked at the Caravan Club forum recently but unusually, during the last week, I have. There are a lot of unhappy bunnies on there, the forum is going through a strange time with bickering and blame flying about in all directions. What is really laughable is reading the "It ain't me its them" ( whoever them is ) type posts.

It is strange. Although I have been a member of the Caravan Club for 27+ years, I have not, until now looked at the Forum. Prompted by Bessacar's post, I thought I would give it a shot. It is highly unlikely that I will bother again if what is currently on there is the best they can do. There is a member who is trying to be fair and reasonable, but he/she is fighting a losing battle.
Bessacar, you are absolutely right. There are a lot of unhappy bunnies and a lot of backstabbing. Surely if that is all the members of the CC Forum can post, why bother? Beats me!

As a Forum owner for a limited interest demographic, we always compliment ourselves on the "niceness" of our members and their posts, which seems to be one of the reasons why we continue to survive, albeit with a limited membership in these days of Facebook & Twitter etc, rather like our own Caravan Forum. What it is that brings out so much crass, unintelligent, plain downright ugly posts across so many Internet discussion sites is beyond me. It just seems to be indicative of the lack of respect, and "rights" taking preference over responsibilities, which is becoming, or has become, endemic in what was once a more or less caring and polite society. I don't know what is the answer, but I do believe it's going to become a lot worse before it becomes any better.

I agree Neil, I frequent another Caravan forum and a minority of posters seem to be keyboard warriors and always want the last say and if anyone dares to speak against their thoughts then the slanging match begins, fortunately I now block certain forum members so I do not see their "contributions" I feel it sad that they need to be so rude and aggressive. I just hope I never park next to them.

Unfortunately you have these people on the majority of Forums. They will always be there. I tend to ignore the ones that are always trying to wind people up or just annoy them.
