We stopped at Bella Riva on Friday 28th. We filled up at the garage near Carrefore £1.28 per litre, there were armed Gendarmerie on the roundabout. We saw about 6 immigrants on the opposite side of the road, there were about 20 on the actual approach road to the site. None of them even looked at us. We pitched on the usual pitches at the back of the site to stay coupled up. At about 6.30 outside near the canal 3 cars stopped and it looked like they were giving food and drinks to the immigrants. I was told that at about 9pm the Gendarmerie clear them all out of the town. In the morning on the way to the ferry was saw about 6 more, who didn't seems interested in us. Between booking in and getting on the Ferry the Caravan was searched 3 times. I will continue using that way when returning home with no worries at all.
